In Singapore, a boutique gift company was preparing for the New Year season. Their business centered on curating premium gift sets for corporate clients and affluent consumers, and they knew that packaging would define the first impression. A simple carton wasn’t enough—what they needed was a box that felt like part of the gift itself, something sturdy, elegant, and memorable.
The company had one key requirement: exclusivity. This was a limited holiday run, just a few hundred sets, but every detail had to convey luxury. They wanted packaging that would hold delicate items such as glassware and metal accessories, while also making a statement in appearance. The challenge was to create something sophisticated without forcing the company to commit to volumes that exceeded their needs.
At PandaPackage, we crafted a magnetic rigid box using heavy grayboard wrapped in specialty textured paper. The lid closed seamlessly with a magnetic flap, giving the box a smooth, confident feel when opened. Inside, we designed high-density EVA inserts, precision-cut to cradle each gift item securely during handling and shipping. For the exterior, we applied gold foil stamping along with selective UV accents, making the company’s logo shine against the dark textured surface. And to match the limited-edition nature of the project, we supported a small production run of just two hundred units.
When the gift sets launched, the new packaging elevated the entire experience. Recipients described the boxes as keepsakes rather than disposable containers, often reusing them to store personal items long after the gifts were gone. For the gift company, this transformation meant more than safety and presentation—it meant their brand was associated with sophistication, care, and attention to detail. The box itself became part of the gift, reinforcing the value of what was inside.
